COVID-19 Community Spread Alert

The Petersburg Borough, School District and Petersburg Medical Center need your help. Community spread of COVID is prevalent in Petersburg. Positive cases and/or close contacts have been identified in the Petersburg Borough, schools, and daycares. If you suspect that you or your child may have been exposed, please contact your employer, the school district, and/or childcare facility for more information.

In Petersburg, we have enjoyed having our schools open, our hospital available, and our community up and operational. This latest outbreak is threatening this status. Please get vaccinated. The vaccines are safe, and very effective at keeping you, your loved ones, and your neighbors out of the hospital. We also encourage all local businesses and organizations to require masks in your establishments, and to take steps to reduce capacity where appropriate. Thank you.
