Face coverings required in all indoor public settings (CANCELLED)

On Monday Dec 6th, the Petersburg Borough Assembly continued the Borough wide face covering mandate for all public indoor spaces. The ordinance can be viewed below.

This mandate is necessary to help prevent the continued spread of COVID in our community.  The Borough, School and Hospital highly encourage all Petersburg businesses, churches and other organizations to require masks in your buildings and at your gatherings.  We also recommend getting vaccinated, and following social distancing and hygiene recommendations.  Please take these simple steps to reducing the spread of COVID so we can keep our schools open, our businesses working, and our community safe.
