Special Use Permit Application (Fee: $120)

There are some instances when the private sector needs to use borough property for uses other than what the property was initially intended for. A special use permit provides for consideration of factors affecting the suitability of the proposed activity.

All special use permit applications are reviewed by the Planning Commission and then considered by the Borough Assembly. The commission follows certain criteria (PMC 19.76.020) that guides them in deciding whether a permit should be granted.

When applying for a permit, please provide a site plan showing proposed development and development footprint.
