Zoning Change ($170)

Amendment of the Service Area 1 zoning boundaries must be initiated by the Planning Commission, Borough Assembly, or by petition signed by 50% of the property owners within an area proposed for rezoning (PMC 19.84).

A zoning amendment is reviewed by the Planning Commission and then considered by the Borough Assembly as an ordinance, which requires three separate readings for approval.
