Petersburg Police Department

The mission of the Petersburg Police Department is to serve and protect persons and property in the Borough of Petersburg, Alaska. The responsibilities associated with this mission are many, including enforcement of Borough ordinances as well as state and federal law while assisting citizens in public safety matters both urgent and routine. Police Department members are expected to carry out these responsibilities in a professional, courteous manner, ever mindful that effective policing requires working in partnership with the community we serve.
