Police Department Vehicle Auction
The Petersburg Police Department will be hosting a vehicle auction through sealed bid on August 20th, 2023, at 12:00pm. Vehicles are located at the end of S 2nd St at Public Works near the impound lot and are available for viewing Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm and 12:30pm-4:00pm.

Sealed bids will be accepted in person or by mail to the Petersburg Police Department, PO Box 329, Petersburg, AK 99833. Bidding begins July 27th, 2023 and ends August 20th, 2023, at 12:00pm. Any and all bids must include vehicle description, bid amount with a minimum of $325, first and last name, and contact phone number.
Highest bidder will be contacted by the Police Department to retrieve their property by licensed driver or other reasonable means. Payment is due upon notification and is only accepted by cash, money order, or cashier’s check written to the Petersburg Borough. Any and all costs for removal are the responsibility of the new owner.
